patrick teoh’s 60th birthday bash @ the farm

Nyeh, I’m back. Streamyx is at a crawling speed at home, so I had massive difficulty uploading photos yesterday. Oh well. Not that any of you missed me 😉

Me and FA were invited to The Farm to celebrate Patrick’s 60th birthday bash. It was an interesting drive to Lenggeng in Negri Sembilan, as the map provided was not drawn to scale. So we just headed for Pajam, then Mantin and of all the houses we stopped by to ask for directions, we had to pick one with a woman who seemed to have a self-abuse problem.

We reached The Farm around evening, and the buggers had already started on beers. Yay! The proprietor of The Farm is Andrew, and besides managing a 7-acre farm almost on his own, he is also known for cooking with just an apron and a pair of shorts on.

The first night was mostly lots of booze and talking kok. Patrick’s family and friends were there, so there were lots of kids running around. FA got shit-faced, bwahahahah!

The Thor And U-En Show

At night, we had a bbq-ed dinner, followed by a proper celebration of The Voice’s 60 years existence on earth. Nell Ng hosted a mini presentation involving Min, Gavin Yap, Ari, Kurt, Thor, U-En, Afdlin, etc. Ben made a special whiskey for Patrick, which I think was fabulous 😀

Thanks to Patrick and Min for inviting us and generally being such wonderful people. As you can see, there are not a lot of words on this post. That is because there isn’t much to say, except for “Happy birthday big boy”, and “we love you long time”.
