G3 Kitchen & Bar @ Bangsar

G3 Kitchen & Bar, Bangsar Finally I found a ‘new’ place for me and my sisters to eat, one that is acceptable to their discerning palates!

We were at G3 Kitchen & Bar for two consecutive Wednesdays and tried a fair bit of dishes to make up our minds that yes, we’ll be back for more.

In the spirit of ‘here’s a photo of what I ate’, here are photos of what we ate. Mostly hits with some misses which are easier to detail, so…

The pizza crust could be crispier. It went cold within 5 minutes of being served; that cannot be right. Risotto isn’t cooked al dente, if you want it so then you must let them know beforehand. Desserts are WAY too sweet for our liking and not particularly to our taste. Not to worry, Alexis is just down the road.

Oh, and not serving filtered water, forces you to pay for expensive bottled water. No allowance for customers who ordered a regular priced drink EACH either. That pisses me off and could (and has) lead to a walkout.

Other than that, everything’s a dandy. Favourites are the grilled scallops, smoked duck salad and braised wagyu cheek + baby lobster risotto (so good, must try!).

Sorry about the crappy photos, after all I was there to eat.

I didn’t have the coffee as it was at night, but maybe over the weekend I’ll give it a try. They have a long list of sandwiches also, salted beef looked inviting.

  2. wah that pizza looks good, and i also need those scallops!

  3. You’ve just made me very, very hungry. Will convince my bro to bring us there on the next trip to KL!

  4. Totally disgusted with eateries who can’t serve diners filtered water. Hmmm which also means they use just normal tap water to cook? Unfiltered…

    • I’m sure they do. I read somewhere that they used to serve filtered water until the manager revoked it cos apparently ‘Malaysians don’t know how to behave’.

  5. If it’s worth anything, dem pizza’s have my vote! ๐Ÿ˜›
