Ryan and his ghosts

I don’t quite know how Ryan the Nephew learned about the concept of ghosts. Earlier on, his parents decided to shield him from supernatural beliefs for as long as possible. Such things were deliberately never mentioned in front of him because kids as you know, pick up things way too easily. It is also psychologically unhealthy, but that’s another topic for another time.

Anyway he did pick it up, probably from his kakak and/or playground friends. He’s also rather adamant that ghosts exist even though I’ve been half-heartedly trying to make him drop the idea. Here’s him telling me a ghost story then not wanting to befriend me after I told him that it was bollocks. Not in those exact words, but you know πŸ™‚

  1. ROFLMAO! so farnie .. his ghost story not scary one

  2. Niki Cheong says:

Aiyo so cute can die. OMG.

  3. Shirley: I had no idea what he was talking about. Something about a purple ghost under the rocks.

Niki: Hehehehehe used to be Shin Chan lookalike!

  4. LOL you told the wrong thing suan! dowan fren u! hahahhaha

  5. hantukotek says:

    Ghost exists.

Don’t have to be religious to know the concept is scientifically compatible under quantum mechanics.

We just know them as dark matter.

  6. lol he’s so cute.. especially when he said “ok, i dowan fren u”

  7. You might find this an interesting read:

  8. and now we know ghosts are purple…

  9. LOL Loved his reply to your “so you rather believe your friend than your xiao yee la”

  10. LOL. It wasn’t the “Don’t want to friend you part.” that’s funny but his answer to your last question.

  11. hahahahahahaha

eh but it’s quite interesting, he’s convinced that he’s seen a ghost before because his friend saw it and told him. kids can be tipu-ed so easily hehehehe πŸ˜›

and homaikot i think he saw barney’s ghost wtf

  12. It’s true, it’s true! They talk to me at night… they say, “kill them, kill them all!” Muhahahahahaha

  13. KY: sorry it only works on me with kids!

hantu: the way they exist in popular culture and beliefs that it is inherently evil and scary, i’d rather the children don’t come in contact with that. as mention, psychologically unhealthy

joce: heh my fav part was when i told him, there’s no such thing as ghost you know.. and he shot up and said, i saw before one ah… i laugh everytime haha

The Envoy: i’ve come across that before. when it morphs into something scary, now that’s the part i don’t like

    AT: knowledge!

    electronicfly: pwned? heh

Jason: ah but they will soon learn.. who knows more… πŸ˜€

Chen: i think it was a kakak’s story. i don’t know what they feed into the kids’ minds

Half: oh i saw a movie about that once. think it got made into silence of the lambs or something

  14. lol! filmed at my home! poor ryan too sien d.

  15. I LOL-ed when I heard “ghost lived in a tree inside a rock” and something,…. polis at 0.19.
