BFM’s In Conversation with Patrick Teoh

Patrick Teoh in front of his poster image Growing up, I missed the chance to listen to Patrick Teoh on-air because Johor people who are Chinese mostly watch Singaporean TV and listen to Singaporean radio. I don’t remember how I got to know about Patrick but I did, and as fate would have it, we became friends.

For a while now, I really wish I did listen to him because I heard so many stories of how funny and witty he was on the radio, told by friends, mutual friends, acquaintances and such. Classic Patrick Teoh, you know. Well I don’t! Grrr…. It sounds like the kind of programme that I would have very much enjoyed — 10% music, 90% talk, 100% entertainment.

Thanks to Caroline Oh’s BFM ‘In Converation’ interview with Patrick, I was able to get a glimpse of what it was – friggin’ awesome! I was smiling and chuckling to myself at a lot of parts, e.g. when Patrick talked about appreciation for opera:

“I wouldn’t know the difference between an aria and a sup kambing.”

Okay my point is that if you can only listen to one podcast this weekend, let this one be it!

You can also access it at BFM’s web page for the interview.
