before bali

Am off to Bali today, will be back on Monday. Am rather excited and relieved because I’ve been looking forward to this for a while, I’ve never been to Bali and I quite need a getaway.

We have to leave PJ by 4pm. I have a lot of errands to run, little last minute stuff to buy. I need to transfer my clothes etc to a larger bag because I remembered that we paid for one bag to be checked-in. I need to go find that one larger bag in my sister’s dungeon of luggage. So why am I here still blogging away? Because bloggers are sick, sick people who deserve a kick in the nuts/ tits. My reasoning is that I won’t be on-line for a few days.

Nonetheless I am not a complete slacker. To prove this, here are some of the things that I’ve done and prepared, to be brought to Bali with me.

Change MYR to IDR aka I am a millionaire in Indonesia and everyone has used that line. Check.

Before Bali - rich with Rupiah

Did I mention that I am going mountain trekking at 4 am? Hence the torchlight.

Before Bali - little things to bring

Best shoes a girl can have. It’s really not just the brand. I tried on many brands before going back to Nike — the comfort level (at that price) is too amazing.

Before Bali - Nike ftw

Telephone number book, watch, calculator, music player, alarm clock and currency converter. Check.

Before Bali - all-in-one wonder

One of best mates. Check.

Before Bali - Fireangel

Emo Ryan ‘cos I’m not bringing him?

Before Bali - emo Ryan

Uh, maybe not :P

Anyway it will be fun, regardless of what we end up doing. See you next week! I might Twitter, I might not. To end this post, here’s a snippet from a conversation I had with Ryan when telling him that I was going to Bali with Fireangel.

Me: You remember Fireangel jie jie? We went to Bangkok together.
Ryan: Yah I know Fireangel jie jie. I also know fire engine.

Assorted Blah
