live with chivalry @ euphoria / coffee tasting @ cafe libre
Earlier this month, a few of us were invited to a Chivas Regal event at Euphoria, Sunway. It was a global campaign titled, “Live With Chivalry“, and they had horses at Euphoria’s entrance, a tombstone inside the club etc. It was like a page out of Alexander Dumas’ ‘The Three Musketeers’. Then you have DJ Blink (who was awesome) opening the event… I liked the combination

It was rather fun. Dancers in extravagant costumes and on stilts, some dude or chick tied to cords and ‘flew’ around… During DJ Blink’s set, a guitarist, a violinist and a dude with a bongo played along to the dance tracks.

We didn’t stick around for DJ Seb Fontaine; it was okay, he played at an earlier Speedzone event that we went to.

Vishnu and Jimmy (my favourite coffee dude ) hosted the event, imparted knowledge on… uh, coffee 
There were a few wow moments when I realised why some coffee places sell blueberry muffins…

melvin: pairing. like wine. complements certain coffee. we had one type of coffee that was really great with snickers, and another that left a bad taste in our mouth when paired with choc
