“Roger Fisk, the former National Director of Special Events during president Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, will be in Malaysia for a one-day seminar.
The campaign team, dubbed “Team Obama,†was recently hailed as the world’s most innovative group by Fast Company in its annual ranking of innovative companies, knocking off Google.
Marketing magazine publisher Harmandar Singh, the company organising the event, said the seminar would be a great opportunity for Malaysians to learn from the successful marketing campaign.
Fisk will discuss ideas and thoughts put in during the campaign with focus on new media strategies like blogging, e-mail alerts and SMS in the seminar.”
I’m quite excited about this one, really. Thanks to Nuffnang, I got a seat at the seminar. The panel discussion with Roger Fisk includes Mr. Nadeswaran, whose ‘Citizen Nades’ column in The Sun is one of the very few that I make an effort to read. According to the schedule, the panel discussion after lunch includes KJ and Zaid Ibrahim. Should be really interesting!
