gardenia’s butterscotch bread is ridiculously yummy!
I’ve been trying to fall asleep since 11 pm. As I am writing this blog post now at 2 am, you can judge for yourself how well that turned out.
Got a tad hungry, as I had a rather early dinner. Then I remembered the loaf of bread that I’d bought earlier, and so I skipped downstairs to retrieve it from the kitchen.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is no ordinary loaf of bread. It’s the Gardenia Butterscotch bread, and I can’t begin to describe how incredibly and ridiculously yummy it is. You can see what they claim on the plastic packaging, right? “REALLY, REALLY, REALLY GOOD!!!” Such enthusiasm with three exclamation marks! Believe you me, they were definitely not kidding about the really, really, really good part!
Probably not very healthy in the long run, but dayum, it’s delicious

Those went right to my stomach
I first had it at Cameron Highlands — I think it was Mellissa who bought a loaf and shared it with us. I thought it was a lot better than the expensive Japanese bread that they sell at 1 Utama, and I was proven right when I walked past the stall the other day and ate one of those tiny pieces that they serve for tasting.
The Gardenia Butterscotch bread costs RM4. I counted 12 slices in the loaf that I bought, so that makes it 33 sen per slice. I already had 4 slices
Apparently ST is having a difficult time purchasing the bread. Sort of like my Chek Hup white coffee frustration (though after that post, people have been telling me where I can easily get it at a cheaper $$).
I think I can sleep now. Good night!

ps. I agree that it’s quite difficult to find this bread at the regular shops (maybe they only carry 2 or 3 loafs per delivery?) but thankfully the 7-11 at my place always seem to have a lot of stock everytime I go.
