From what I know there are two types of green chillies: the type that turns red eventually and the type that will never turn red. The former is hot and the latter is not hot, somemore crunchy and is a preferred choice to make stuffed chillies. In Chinese they call this “Cui jiao”. Apparently they served you the latter.

OMG to the Green Chili!!!

I’d be afraid to swallow it (or even bring it close to my mouth) but knowing myself, I’m bound to try it because I think it’s an experience in itself. The food looks so good!!! The inverted umbrellas at the ceiling are also very fascinating!

for those who want directions:

it’s the same highway to berjaya’s bukit tinggi resort. follow the karak highway until u reach the genting exit, right before a tunnel. enter the tunnel. after exiting a tunnel, you will see a rest area on your right with McD. drive somemore towards kuantan. you will come to a rather steep slope. after the slope you will see some kampungs on your left and right. there’s a resort called “selesa hillhomes” with a very visible sign on your left too. when you see this, keep left and you will see an exit right ahead. exit and turn right. you will come to another small tunnel under the highway. after this tunnel, you will see a BHPetrol station.

the restaurant is behind the BHPetrol station.
