nokia 5800 xpm launch @ pavilion kl
Last Friday was the Malaysia launch of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic touch screen phone. The lot of us went, we were supposed to wear stripes, and the one I wore reminded Zoe of old American prisoners’ attires -_-”

Vlasta Berka, GM of Nokia (M) took the stage to officially launch the Nokia 5800 XPM. He also announced the price — RM1,499 which I think is a real steal. They are also giving away 1,000 DRM-free songs with each unit; song artists include Madonna, Jason Mraz, Kylie Minogue, Norah Jones, Michael Buble… you know, the talented ones.

Then there was confetti which I don’t like because it gets stuck in your hair etc. A couple of chicks who were standing in front of us picked up the strings of confetti and tied it around their heads. Chic

We proceeded to La Bodega for dinner and drinks. I was waiting for my beer to be served, when I saw EeVon holding a glass of cold beer then taking a sip out of it, and I lost it…
“OMG EEVON WTF?!?!!!! WHERE’S MY BEEEEEEEEEER?!!!?!?!?!??!!”

I think your sleeves look ABBA-ish, and I see more than one person wearing black and white stripes – is it ‘in’ now?? Actually all around me I’m seeing more peope wearing flowy-billowy dresses from the later seventies again hor? So, guess it means you are leading the fashion trend!

I love the paella at La Bodega. Best ever if you’re hungry. I love the 2 GB Nokia heart shaped USB drive too. =D
