so long till tuesday!
More notes before the taxi arrives at 6 a.m. :
The year 1998 was my final year in high school. Early this year, I proposed to some of my high school friends whom I still keep in touch with to hold a 10-year reunion/ anniversary. I reckon we have more or less 200 people in our batch, and my target for the reunion was half the number. The date was set for this year’s Wesak weekend because I figured that a lot more people would be able to attend, thanks to the long weekend.
Unfortunately the final turn-out is 34 (I think). Well, not bad what
We held it at the Katerina Hotel in Batu Pahat (yes, ze hotel), the staff was really good to us (mental note to write a ‘thank-you’ letter to the staff) and it was a lovely, lovely time catching up and so on.
Well, this is us

Last Friday Tim invited me to his birthday dinner at Michaelangelo’s at Pavilion. I tumpang-ed ST’s ride because I am a lazy arse who couldn’t be bothered to drive all the way to KL by myself. Emo Firdy chronicled the dinner at his blog — from his fresh and unique perspective, of course…
And because Uncle Patrick screams for morons to learn some Engrand, I cannot wish Tim a happy belated birthday. How about, “I LOVE YOU LONG TIME!” ?
Heh.

Last weekend was my maternal grandfather’s grand birthday bash. Most of the clan went back to Batu Pahat to celebrate his 80th birthday (or was it 81st? Hmmm…) and it was great catching up with my cousins. I like them very much
This is us!

Personally it was a very fruitful trip for me, being able to consume Mat Shah’s nasi beryani and lontong in Sri Gading. Life’s little treats.

Finished packing! Erna is bringing a single backpack whereas I will be lugging a proper suitcase to be checked in. Boss tumpang-ed me to buy 2 DDR and it’s not the RAM -_-”

I’m going to miss him
So long, and thanks for all the hits!

This was such a great effort, u shld be so happy at least 34 turned up. Actually not bad aldy. Cathcing up wit highschoolmates is very lovely sometimes, mostly complain about teachers right? Maybe i should organize one for my batch too. But things is most of the kl confusious gangster kids could have been jailed or executed. Those survived middle class like me may also likely as bum as me, so see also ???:)
