i woke up to the same old bullshit

This article on NST tickled my funny bone.

Because if they were so self-righteous in the sense as to clarify that (i.e. oh Badawi never said that…) and (i.e. Mahathir actually did this last time…), how about reading this article on NST, where the terms:

- opposition
- exploited
- non-Malay rights issues

… jump at you like sharks. Tak nampak any clarifications pun? Probably (some people) never attended the ceramahs kot.

By the way, I wonder why my newspaper vendor did not deliver yesterday and today…

And check out this article on The Star. Why so horrified? Not like DAP got herpes. I don’t see Loke Siew Fook or Kamarul Baharin wanting to stab themselves with AIDS-infected syringes after KJ won Rembau.

I suggest we should have state newspapers :D

Wait lah…I’m optimistic of more neutral reporting to come when State Governments are formed and Parliament convenes.

Then again, they always said I was an optimist.

KY: and sell to every newspapers vendor :D

davidlian: probably not. what’s published is dependent on the owners. it’s fine if NST is akin to The Daily Telegraph (UK), but we need something like The Independent also, which is widely circulated.

They are afraid. If the new state government are able to provide better life to the people, it will be in BR hand in the subsequent years.

And there will be no come back for any of them. ;)

KY : All Chinese night newspaper swept clean by the reader for the pass 3 days. Never happens for the pass 10 years. Imagine you make a state newspaper ;)

Re: Tun’s call for Pak Lah to resign

What is up with that NST journo and his statements in parantheses? Is he reporting the news or engaging in a debate with Tun? wtf man

And do you notice how TV news just have visuals and not audio when they reported the opposition wins, swearings in, etc? Reminds me of how the BBC used to censor Jerry Adams’s voice on TV back in the 90s. And he as a Sinn Féin terrorist, not a democratically elected member of parliament!

KY, damn good idea to come up with state newspaper! Maybe Suan can start a campaign for this?

I heard that Nadeswaran and some journos are shopping around for a new “home”, now that Vincent Tan has bought over The Sun…

I’ll definitely dump the rest of the BN papers in favour of this one!

Yaloh, I was wondering if anyone actually does the parenthesis thingy in proper newspapers…

I can’t seems to get The Sun now in my office. Just heard from the radio, Penang new CM, YAB Lim Guan Eng will not use NEP in the state. As about the Bumiputra rights, he said all races are treated equal, and state project will be given using public tender using an online portal to be setup soon.

hah.. i couldn’t bear reading the newspapers today. in fact, i sat down for lunch and spread the papers on the table.. what i read put me off… so i stopped reading the papers, only to find that i’ve also lost my appetite to eat my nasi goreng kampung.

hence, the bloody papers not only cost me rm 1.50, it made me lose RM4.50 and also 17 ringgit.. as i had to order mcdelivery because i got hungry later on in the day..

The national government might not be able to abolish the NEP, the least they could do is stop giving discounts of like 5-7% for Bumis who buy million dollar houses…. WTF !!

Talking bout the papers, kinda reminds me: what happened to monsterblog? It just seemed to be down one day and never got up again.
