the cny ‘08 semi-report
Thoughts and recollection in no particular order:
- Batu Pahat is damn hot. As in heat, not sexiness.
- Lots of development in Batu Pahat. Almost all the fast-food chains are there. When there’s a Starbucks branch and 3G in BP, I’d contemplate moving back.
- Had a Nokia N82 to play with. Hey Libby, I am not giving the phone back! 
- I had lontong two mornings in a row. Happy. My dad rocks.
- My cousin’s daughter, one year younger than Ryan is so precious!
For some reason, Ryan came off looking a bit hamsap in this photo
- Checked out Melissa’s month-old daughter. Gave ang pow to someone not in my family on Chinese New Year for the first time.
- Met up with high school mates. Was extremely tickled to find out that one is now a Math teacher.
- Gambled with Richard & gang for 4 hours, losing RM 1 in the process.
- Met up with Edwin, Doofus, CT, Andrew, etc for mamak session, then beer @ a kopitiam. Btw Edwin, the saying was, “the road to Hell is paved with good intentions”.
- Buddhist monks have a wicked sense of humour. Not necessarily good for me -_-”
- Collected ang pows. I don’t care about relatives jibbing me to get hitched soon so they would not have to give me ang pows. If you still want to give, heck I am accepting!! I am thick-skinned that way
I heart my grandmother!
- Checked out Old Town for the first time with my cousins. Not impressed.
- Checked out Rengit Coffee for the first time. Went back for seconds and thirds.
- My old school looks so damn ugly now.
- Chanced upon ex-bf with his son and pregnant wife.
- Not a lot of friends are interested in current news and politics.
- Can’t connect to MSN Live using Edge.
- I love my mom’s new Myvi. Thinking of sneakily exchanging it with my Kelisa and hoping that she doesn’t notice
- At the stroke of 12 on CNY, my neighbour two doors away set off firecrackers. Two seconds later, the police arrived.
- Found out that Christopher Lee and Fann Wong have been dating for a long time.
Me with two of my cousins. Can you tell that they are siblings?
- Drove back to PJ on Sunday. Got sick.
- Somewhere in Negri Sembilan, saw a convoy of BN mat rempits on bikes, led by a jeep and a traffic police woman. One was not wearing a helmet, and a couple did some rempit stunts. Didn’t know I could feel that big a venom stuck in my throat. Meluat.
- Hung out with KY and Dree when I got back.
