win speedzone party tix for 29th dec @ zouk kl !!

(Sorry ar, busy a bit so I am just going to copy a whole lot from the press release.)

To celebrate the World Grand Prix champions…

Partygoers have a very special event to look forward to on 29th December as SpeedZone Tour includes a new addition to their 2007 calendar – a first-ever World Grand Prix Champions Party! In a scorching double celebration of team Ferrari’s and Ducati’s monumental F1 and MotoGP wins, Malaysia’s favourite hotspot, Zouk will set ablaze as SpeedZone showcases a very, special deejay, the 24-year old wunderkind JAMES ZABIELA.

Set to close the year 2007 in style, JAMES ZABIELA will blaze the night at SpeedZone as he plays a 3-hour set of truly nuclear proportions. Joining ZABIELA will be SpeedZone’s favourite DJ, Joey G of Channel [V] fame, who will set the pace for clubbers in his own patented way, showing why he’s the best at what he does as he creates the setting for a truly monstrous main set.

About JAMES ZABIELA:

James Zabiela (press release)

A technical wizard and with a love of all things sci-fi, JAMES ZABIELA is at the forefront of new DJ/production talent smashing the glass ceiling of the global superstars. He’s played to a room full of suited Japanese businessmen when showcasing Pioneer’s latest equipment, in front of 60,000 people in South America and just about every imaginable situation in-between. And this time ZABIELA will be taking time off from his residency at Ibiza’s world famous club, Space and Pacha - New York, to make his very first stop of his Asian tour in Kuala Lumpur!

From the beginnings of winning a bedroom DJ competition to being recently awarded the ‘Best British DJ’ at the DJ Mag DJ Awards and ranked #17 in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ Poll, ZABIELA showcases a style, which is at the same time trippy, bleepy and downright groovy, with a few gnarly basslines thrown in for good measure. ZABIELA’s unique style has been recently borrowed by the likes of Jay-Z who famously integrated it into his signature sound.

So you can go pay RM40 to party with this hot young dude on 29th December (Saturday) at Zouk KL, OR you can win TWO tickets to the party from Suanie.net! Isn’t reading this blog wonderful :D ;) :D

Of course there’s a contest to go with it. But this one will be relatively easier, compared to the last Speedzone contest that I ran.

So check this out:

What is the one thing that you promised yourself to do/fulfill at the beginning of this year, but have yet to do anything about it, even until now?

For example, the one thing I promised myself to do at the beginning of this year was to lose weight. 12 months later, I am still a big fat blimp. Yay, I win two tickets to the Speedzone party!!!!!!!!

Basically, whoever’s broken resolution sounds the most miserable, wins. I have 5 pairs of tickets to dish out, so do your worst!

Who says losers cannot be winners :D (once in a while)

Rules rules rules:

1) Contest ends on 26th December 2007 (Wednesday)
2) Contest only those 21 years old and above only!
3) Please enter a valid e-mail address if you wish to participate in the contest so I can e-mail you if you win.
4) You can write down your broken resolution(s) in the comment form below, or e-mail me via my contact page.
5) All entries will be judged by ME! If you win, I’ll e-mail you a.s.a.p. to inform you how you could collect the tickets.

O la la!

from last year end, I’m determined to lose weight. Spend a lot of money to buy fiber as replacement meal, reduce carb intake, went to slimming centre, join gym for exercise. I ended up spending a lot of $$$ but lose no weight! And last month, I got a fractured toe bone! luckily recovering now. New year wish: good luck fall upon me!

So ur free tics can be the beginning of my luckiness. HAHA

    My resolution was to:

    Slim down.

    Actual results:

    Fattened up.

    All this despite:
    1. Taking up Mountain Biking
    2. Signing up for Gym
    3. Eating “Healthy” oats
    4. Going jogging early in the morning.

So, it’s not for lack of trying… it’s just that my body refuses to obey. The pants I bought early this year now won’t fit me. :(

Ow! I can’t enter. I never make New Years Resolutions! I think they’re silly. lol

Maybe I should make one up.
Um, this year I vowed not to be eaten by Patagonian Blood worms … oh wait, that didn’t happen, so I couldn’t have broken it.

Actually, I do know one thing. Wasn’t a New Years Resolution, but I did promise to get myself a GF before my 42nd Birthday and didn’t. Now THAT is sad! :-)
[So why am I smiling?] :-)

Everyone wants to lose weight yeah? :)

Well, for me, I had an array of resolutions. And when I say “array”, I actually mean sh*te load of resolutions.

Lemme give you the top 5. #1 - I wanted to (surprise, surprise!) lose weight because since I started working (bless my soul) I’ve put on 10kgs (sadness). All from binge eating due to work-related stress. #2 - Because of work-related stress, I have had plans to start someone of my own… it’s December. Prepare pun belum prepare! #3 - To eat healthier. Still have yet to eat healthy. I’m addicted to McDonald’s, KFC, Domino’s Spicy Sambal Pizza (you should try yaaa…) etc. #4 - Take more photos - New camera, only used it twice for major photography stuff… sadness. Last but not least #5 - LOSE WEIGHT! Goddammit, I wanna lose weight!

Suanie, if I do win the tickets, I’m going to bring my gf with me because she’s such a big fan of this genre of music and although my ears will pop and I will start dancing like Mr. Bean, I know this will make her happy.

    Thanks yous.

my new year resolution every year was to stop making new year resolutions, but then I get swept by the whole ooh it’s the new year, perfect time to plan to lose 20kgs / do 200 sit ups everyday, eat only tofu / save more money vibe.

In the end, I’ll never achieve any of my resolutions and end up with a bad case of end-of-the-year melancholy. I will again promise myself that next year I will not make any new year resolutions at all but I know that the vicious circle will continue. *sighs*.

My new year resolution every year is to brace myself to wear contact lens.
Until today, I don’t dare to try it. I heard too many stories about the contact lens “koyak/pecah” in the eyes and then how it can run away from its position and surgery is then required. Everytime taking picture, I will have to take off my glasses to not look like a nerd in picture.

Another resolution of mine is to be more sociable, more outings, less shy… which is now I am trying to achieve. =)
