So I was going over some calculations with Spongefox.
“Say I want to be able to enjoy one of my favourite meals for dinner everyday; spaghetti marinara at Pizza Uno. That with one drink comes up to about RM35 per meal. That means RM 1,050 a month. Let’s say that I spend half of that for lunch, and half of lunch money for breakfast. In total I would be spending a bit less than RM 2,000 a month on food. Assuming budgeting for food is 25% a month. That means I will have to take home about RM 8,000 every month just to support my food lifestyle!”
Spongefox looked at me.
“Seriously Suan, if you are going to spend RM 2,000 on food every month, you will only have 6 months to enjoy it because you’ll be dead after that.”

you haven’t realized that things that we consider as our ‘favorites’ are the things we don’t get to have very often? if you have them everyday…very soon it’ll fall off from your ‘favorite’ list.
Hey, whatever happened to the Suanie Lean Machine campaign? I have a vague memory of that.
in fact think about it, if we make money not spending on food & beer…… what else we spent on has more meaning?
i think make money is easy, spend money is harder – because its hard not to regret on our spent.
