wednesday assorted blah
You know, this morning I thought of something totally awesome to blog about. The concept was witty and funny, two traits that elude me at the best of times. Then just now I was racking my brains to recall what I had wanted to write about, and I simply just couldn’t. Well, there you go 
Most probably something to do with our country’s governance. Oh wait, I think I remember it now. But can’t be arsed to write the whole deal down now. Maybe tomorrow or something if I can remember it again.
So knackered from attending the launch of Royal Selangor’s Autumn 2007 collection yesterday. It was mighty great fun, mind you, but I haven’t been sleeping properly the last week, and that probably got to me. Could I be getting… *gasp* OLDER?! Blah. Will blog about the event later + photos + video.
Nuffnang kindly gave me two free movie vouchers to go watch the rat movie. Since I’d watched it before, I decided to ask my sister to take my mom to the movies. Sort of like a break from taking care of Ryan all the time 
Since my second sister had way too many things to do before she leaves for her diving trip, I asked if my eldest sister could take mom to the movies. She said yes of course, and told my second sister to go redeem the vouchers (which specifically stated the rat movie’s real title), and to purchase an additional ticket for my brother-in-law.
Then this morning my mom told me the story. The three of them (my mom, my sister and her husband) went to the cinema, entered the hall and sat down. Then ‘Rush Hour 3′ began to play. My brother-in-law asked, “Dear, why are they showing ‘Rush Hour 3?” Then my sister was also puzzled, and she replied, “Must be trailer lah!” Then after a while, my brother-in-law asked, “Why trailer so long one…?”
And that was how the three of them ended up watching ‘Rush Hour 3′ instead of the rat movie. Apparently the ticketing boy was a noob, and gave out tickets for the wrong movie. My second sister was in a rush and she didn’t double-check the tickets. I just thought the whole thing was damn funny lah, since I can totally imagine the expressions on my eldest sister and brother-in-law’s faces when they had that conversation. Hehehehe….
Must remember to take video of Ryan as he recites his favourite nursery rhymes.

Couldn’t your sister go to the counter and ask for a ‘refund’ after watching RH3, claiming that since they were not given what they wanted and a compensation was in place!!
