will the blogger receiving rm100k a month please stand up?
Sometimes you can’t ignore the news, especially when the news is standing naked in front of you bouncing its ginormous titties and slapping its own fleshy ass singing a horribly off-rendition of ‘Ave Maria’. So much so that I created a new category for things that make me laugh, aptly titled ‘LMAO!’.
The ex-Menteri Besar of Selangor, currently the UMNO Information Chief Tan Sri Muhammad Muhd Taib was reported saying,
[Berita Harian]
Bloggers are being funded by a foreign organisation for as much as RM100,000 a month, said Umno information chief Mat Taib.
He said the organisation sponsored these bloggers and allowed their websites to broadcast all manner of sensitive issues written by local and foreign bloggers.
“We cannot take this lightly as these bloggers comprise professionals, and the government needs a special mechanism to address the emergence of blogs, which are spreading like an epidemic,” he said. [English translation from Aisehman.org]
Will the blogger(s) funded by a foreign organisation receiving more than RM100k a month (’mencecah’ means over, kan?) please stand up? Just so you can tell us how you did it, and how we all can do the same. Saves me from slaving away in a 9-5.
Information chief mah… his information must be correct lor liddat…
Actually was going to write more on this, but then realised that I have better things to do, like work. Maybe that’s why I am not the one receiving the RM100k. Bummer of all damn bummers.

Shhhhhhssss, don’t tell MT the funder name. Otherwise, all Malaysia MLM/trust funds will close shop because all their down line/agents turn blogging.
Stock market will take a dive since blogging are safer to make more money. Yes, blogger worlds domination. wakakakakakak.

Our politicians are…damn bodoh. But then it seems we like electing clowns. Must be for their entertainment value.
babe, i once got this chain email from janice regarding the academic background of the ministers in this country. aiyo… made me break a sweat thinking about malaysia being in the hands of a bunch of men with a collective intellect of a… well. you paham kan. muacks
Yea right, how many people in this world make RM100k monthly, and how many more will give it to a blogger? It’s because of menteris like this that Malaysia remains, as ever, truly BODOH.
ok ok, it’s me. i admit it. i was paid by the CIA to blog. 100K per month, yeah. Please head over to my blog to check me out. *wink

Durex & Superstar KTV have a co-sponsorship arrangement with me.

RM100k a month?
Is Mat Taib pulling facts out of his ass?
Where’s the proof?
The only epidemic round here is the lack of common sense and learning how to use it by the ministers!

I thought mencecah is equivalent to breaking a surface or summat, so don’t they mean more than 100k?
Ah well. I wish lah, got so much money. No need to study anymore. Just because their bribes mencecah 100k-1mil doesn’t mean it works online as well. Or is this an indirect offer to bribe opinionated bloggers to stfu?
I must become a Malaysian blogger … that’s RM100,000 a month … times twelve! Instant Millionaire!!!!! Only takes a year!
As Shaggy would say…
It wasn’t me!

Mencecah means dipping.

so now blogging is a wabak izzit? LMAO. I
muahahaha… what the fucking hell is he talking about? i almost want to believe to him for that..well almost.. i dont think any Malaysian blogger would have that determination, ideas and even motivation to do it for a long time.. i only believe that a blogger like LiewCF who blogs about things that people actually wanted to read would be in that category.. anyway i would love someday be in that category myself, hopefully..
Chen: dono, need a dictionary for that. no idea where i kept my kamus dewan bahasa. i would love for them to bribe me leh!! i am open to bribes, come bribe me with RM100k!

100k from blogging ? potentially possible but practically…? I know some Malaysian bloggers claim to make that much or marginally less than 100k per month. Most of them are selling courses on how to make money by blogging. Well, not much credibility in their claim, in that case I suppose.
Why don’t the government just open a “www.kritik.malaysia.com” site? Let everybody join with their blogs, forum, cartoons etc. Let it be a space, a pure hot pan. All uncertainties can be played to the full. “No pain, no gain”. Let it be fun, with people hitting around everywhere, rather than taking it seriously into court! Just join them, learn, adapt and change if one has to. Why all the FEAR of having the government nab anyone? if it’s open, I’m sure rational people will give their piece of mind too to the benefit of everyone. Why hide and cover up and use ISA on commoners, though they be profesionals? Just call them ‘professional nuts’ who don’t know what is good for their country…blah, blah blah….know what I mean?
RM 100,000? Even if the currency was Indonesian Rupiah ( janganlah marah kawan kita di sebelah Selat Melaka, main2 saja ) ex-menteri Besar obviously hasn’t a clue about cyberspace.
I’m lucky if I break even every month i.e the Google Adsense ads on my website pays for my cost of webhosting.
For now what he says might be taken as gospel but that day is changing as more and more Malaysians are heading to the net for their news.
