  1. I went to Perth a few years back too.. Beautiful place right? A bit too quiet for my liking though.. Hehe.. everthing closes at 5 pm. Boring! =)

I went there in January and it was cold too. It was like end of spring going into summer and I still felt the cold.

The wave rock looks beautiful. Din get to go there though. Have a nice weekend!

    wow, suanie, you lost weight!

  3. One thing I realised when I was down under myself.. the Chinese Restaurants there are indistinguishable from those here in Malaysia. At least from the inside (referring to your second pic).

I must go south and do the walk through the tree tops sometime too!!!

Maybe I need to fly a GF in to give me an excuse to go site seeing … darn it, I knew I was missing something!!!!

KY – Omega? You talking about the shape? like the Greek letter Omega???? _( )_
My hair naturally starts sticking out like that! lol

I’m in two minds as to whether to grow it long like it used to be [down past my shoulders and halfway down my back], or whether to cut it all off again.

  15. Dear Suanie,
Came across yr site when I browsed for waverock.
Did u do it in a day trip from Perth? Intend to do it myself. A lot of negative advise make me wondering.
    Thank you.

  16. Hello Lee, Yes it was a day trip from Perth. It was only something like a 3 hour drive, slightly more if you’re a cautious driver, heh 🙂 Being new to Perth, I thought the fun was in the journey, not seeing the actual rock.

  17. Hi Suanie,
Thank you for your reply. 3 hour drive doesn’t sound too bad. I too enjoy exploring by driving around in a totally new place.
Just that we will also drive to Pinnacle and Margaret River for day trip.
I think I will go for it anyway.
