transformers for teh win!!!
I really wanted to blog about Transformers, but didn’t want to spoil it for others. Then I remembered that I am on Wordpress and there’s the password-protected function. Brilliant!
But then it turned out that this function is not working properly on my template, so fuck it. So… if you have yet to watch the movie, stop reading right now.

I wasn’t that big of a Transformers fan. Mostly because when I was a kid, watching Megatron scared the shit out of me. I still remember the switching of Autobots and Decepticons masks’ onscreen as the cartoon focuses on different sides. Blah if you’d watched it, you’d know what I’m on about.
The middle part of the movie rocked the most! The transformation of the alien robots were most MAGNIFICENT and so real ( though I think it would be old movie technology in 5 years to come 
) and the way they rolled out were BRILLIANT!!!
Unfortunately that was also the best part of the movie. The beginning was quite funny, I laughed loads, but it was mostly humans humans humans so that was a bit sien. Bernie Mac was hilarious! Hmm..e what else… the parents were funny also. But sometimes it feels a bit too Hollywood-ish; that the parents must be odd and wildly eccentric to get a few laughs, I don’t know, maybe it’s just me.
The middle part rocked, we all know that.
Here are some grouses:
- The Qatar scene dragged on for a bit.
- The built-up of hackers in the defense room was rather massive, that it was a let-down at the end. I mean, that’s it?! Can’t they die, or bomb the room or something…
- The scene where the Secretary of Defense, the analysis girl, the hacker and the weird Sector 7 dude were trying to escape the tiny Decepticon robot was SOOOOO unnecessary. So long for what? Build them up so much, then that was the end? Blah focus on other more important things lah!
- The scene when the Autobots were parading around Sam’s house was funny as heck, but dragged on for a bit too long!
But my MAJOR grouse was…
WTF WHY WAS MEGATRON SO EASILY DEFEATED?!?!?!?! STUPID STUPID STUPID!!!!!
I mean, that’s IT?!!?!!??!?!??!?
Fuck you, Michael Bay.
Hmmm… what else? If I remember anything else I’ll just add them to the comments. Planning to watch a second time anyways.

Megatron is gay anyway. Michael Bay is Gay! Everyone knew he was going to screw the movie up, so it’s no surprise he couldn’t get Megatrons defeat right.
i agree with suan (the cock ups) but you have to admit that it is better in the hands of Michael BAy than the rest of “screwd up directors” that spoilt the good movies like X-men3 and spiderman 3… hmm.. maybe they should have hired Peter Jackson … but they didnt and i guess Micheal Bay was the next in line… I gonna watch again!!!

me thinks the only reason it wasn’t even worse is because Spielberg keeping Bay on his leash the entire way. I shudder to think what it would have been if Bay had his own way…

you guys back home are lucky, saw the movie alraedy. We are having Einstein Teory of Relativity on work here in Brazil, and are wrapped in time freeze – transformer will only be released in Brazil on 20-July. By the time it shows here, oledi shao-sheng (lost the hype already)……

AWESOME MOVIE ZOMG.
I’ve got tickets for tomorrow – I grew up on the old cartoon and loved the animated movie as a kidzor so I wouldn’t miss it for the world.
I only wish my fav G1 character (Soundwave) was in it. The ghetto blaster version would be lame, granted – but the recent series portray him as an F117 so I don’t think it would be difficult to integrate the character into the inevitable sequel.

Z: That was my favourite part also!! The fighting scenes were left to be desired (I would have wanted more robot fight), too much human elements… too little robot time… blah I don’t give a shit about the humans.
I was so excited from the beginning and gradually got tired towards the end.
Still.. better than a lot of so-called “blockbusters” what~

I am not really a big fan but I remember I prefer my transformer toy over a ori set of monopoly for my b’day present.
Jazz height is about Prime, Prime height is around Megatron BUT Megatron stepped and tored Jazz like cockroach only….hmm… I mean if this is the logical mindset that they accept they should make Megatron a pistol rather then an alien jet…You know, pistol small enough to be held by Starscream and as tall as Starscream after it has transform from pistol to robot.
wait. you mean you went to the movie expecting a storyline with proper build up and all? i was like…bring on the robots! screw you humans! robotttttttts! whee!!!
supposedly optimus die in this EPIC battle…but i guess micheal bay has his own version la.
