Three days ago:

– Making manila card pirate hats based on a crafts book. It was like a time machine back to high school.

Fireangel making a pirate hat

– Trying to mirror my greatness onto a drawing of a skull. First attempt failed miserably. Second attempt as seen on Ryan’s pirate hat.

Damn it, bloggers are liars!!1111111 😛 😛 😛 Particularly THIS blogger who waxed lyrical on MSN about dressing as a pirate bla bla bla bla bla, and ended up wearing T-shirt and jeans. Cipets 😛

Well it was only weird for the first half an hour. Walking from the car park, up a few floors to the cinema in full pirate regalia really need getting used to ( not that I am going to do this for a living ). After a while, you stop feeling self-conscious even with kids pointing fingers at you, and adults who tried to stare but didn’t dare. LOL. Most of the time we just randomly laughed at the whole ridiculousness of it all. I am glad that Cineleisure is not my regular hangout 😛

PIRATES! Suanie, KY and FA
KY went as a drunk jester

In all seriousness, we had lots of fun ( I did, I think FA did too ). Though I suppose it would have been better if organisation for mingling was, erm… better, and if a certain jumping jerk did not give away an important bit of the movie in a PPS ping.
