Actually,

If you want to see berths and "those" type of "ships"; you're actually referring to yacht clubs. Try Port Klang (for some reason I always type that out as Pork Tlang) Yacht Club or the PD or Malacca Marina.

If I'm not mistaken; the PD or Malacca marinas are almost exactly like those in the movies. Complete with high class ang mohs.

Be warned though; some of the clubs can be a 'lil stuck up and only allow members in. Try and get someone who's a member to bring you in. I did. hehe.

suertes: I think it should be easier to spot yachts in SG than in Pt Klang. They should stop advertising North Port along the Federal Highway... wtf make ppl think they could go there and look see only :P

quartermiler: heh i wanted to go to Morib, as my friend services the area and often goes there, so he'd know how/where to go. but it was too late. will go next time!

ky: but it doesn't move.

Faieza: a bit too far from PJ, right :P but will keep it in mind, thanks mwah

sabrina: oO thanks... will note that down for the next time I go to Png.

Andrew: Minyak Beku?!? The most I saw was sampans. But the beer part was great :D There's another beach that I forgot... have to drive along the road after the golf club... that was good too.

Dabs: hmmmm

entwined: awesome! lucky you :D

Shan: Hahaha next time! Will call you yah:D

Come to KK lah - the Sutera Harbour marina here has a ton of nice yachts and a couple of the superyachts too.
AND it's only 3 minutes away from town. But there's a 2 and a half hour plane ride for you to get here :)

i second Faieza. Langkawi. We stopped by this petrol station and lo and behold, right behind it is a port?berth? with many many yachts! just like CSI Miami! i don't know if it's the Langkawi Yacht Club, but it was quite devoid of hustle and bustle. very serene. and the gate wasn't locked, so we could walk up to gawk at the yachts! :D

It's a little bit far but the best place would be Tanjung City Marina in Penang...the view of all the boats and yachts is just awesome

Hmm.. if you want boats/yachts ala that CSI Miami, the only place I had experienced as such was in err... Langkawi Yacht Club (I think that's the name, but I'm sure it's in Langkawi). I'm also not sure how the hell I could go in there, I was and am not a member OBVIOUSLY, well... the person I dated could be, I err.. forgot.

But maybe... they could be opened to public also lah, that would also explained why I was there :D

But there my friend, would be exactly like CSI Miami that one lah.
