As Suanie Sees It

Remember my “Win a Beyond Paradise Blue” contest in conjunction with my EstÄ“e Lauder Nutritious skincare collection review? Readers were asked to “Tell me why you would date Suanie, and where you would take Suanie to on a first date” to stand a chance of winning an EstÄ“e Lauder Beyond Paradise Blue worth RM230, and after weeks of procrastinating, I finally plonked my arse down to sort out the entries.

Basically, you lot are crazy. I have crazy readers. I love it!!!!!

ANYWAY, here are a couple of my favourites:

Erin: I want a Suan. My mom wouldn’t let me keep one when I was little cos she said they bite.

Pui Yee: I would date Suanie because I think quirks should unite and multiply, and I will bring Suanie to the CNN broadcast centre to announce how we would dominate and conquer the world and rename it Planet Quirk. (For second date, I will so bring Suanie all over the world on a flying bed to spread Quirk Dust onto those witless souls on the streets.)

I’d bring you out because you look like one of the cute little yellow chicks just hatched out from an egg with black hair instead of yellow yet still can ‘yak’ happily about anything and everything. I’d bring you to Penang bridge for a date as that will be every dream come true for every chicken (what more you are a chick), that is to cross to the other side of the road, which is kinda obsolete in this generation, so crossing the bridge is much more exciting as they area more cars and ships nearby. Some more, less risk although you can’t swim cause the chance of the Penang bridge falling is less as compare to London bridge, so you’ll probably enjoy a date with me there seated in a Formula car with me driving at the speed of 5km/hour from one toll to the other end towards the island, whilst enjoy watching other cars slowing down to catch a glimpse of you and me… the beautiful pair of love-chicks… crossing the bridge, not the road…
