cakes are great
Suddenly I feel like eating cake.
No thanks to Mama Min’s fantastic photos of the cakes she made for her customers. Browsing through her website, I feel as if my place in the world shrunk. I mean, I have NEVER seen cakes like the ones she made, let alone possessing the imagination to create the kind of cakes that are too pretty to be eaten.
Not to say my previous cake-baking attempts were anywhere near successful. The last time I tried my hands at mixing flour and sugar, I was wearing sky blue pinafores. The result was not pretty either. I was so let down by myself that I sulked and developed the grumpy face that I constantly wear today. My dad loved his daughter so much that he bravely gobbled down a couple slices. He’s my hero, I love him to bits. But that didn’t really help so I stopped doing what I suck at.
But back to Mama Min (who is Patrick Teoh’s wife and one of the stars of the latest OGAWA advertisement), I mean seriously, can you believe these cakes?!?!?
You so evil, Mama Min. You make me hungry.
