I don’t think she has talents in music, but nowadays, who really does? She has the money to buy the best producers and DJs to fine-tuned her album, and I got no problem with that.
Its a mediocre album, though she has quite some danceble numbers on it , so its fine with me. Her way of doing it may be something new/shitty(depending on your view) for the music market, but at the end of the day, its just a marketing gimmick.
I don’t like her, I don’t hate her either. She’s just another celebrity ho, no point in wasting time trying to beat a dead horse to death.

As for the singing, I’m surprised she hasn’t invested in software which automatically corrects bad notes. [I'm thinking Antares and other similar programs]. (Yes, it can correct them during live performances. I plan to invest in the software one day!)

From a neutral observer’s point of view, Paris Hilton has been succesful in marketing herself as an icon. A brand even. She’s got the moolah to back her up after all. Socialite –> Social Icon, not too shabby yeah?
The problem some will find is her being able to instantly get the label, the best producers and songwriters for her music career. All because of the money her family has lying around. And because the leeches recognize her marketability and will milk her for all that she’s worth. (Mmm..*cough*)
