Some day the government will get up (If it hasn't already) and ban blogs saying they don't provide the right info. I mean we live in a democratic free world. Why should we not express our opinions? Plus if we just needed reliable news, why wouldn't we read 1000's of websites that are providing them or watch the countless number of news channels. Blogging is like another home, where you express your feelings without caring (or with) what anyone says about it. It's also a great place to make friends. I've got many friends blogging, so to all of this "Those who called for bloggers to be monitored said blogs should only be used to share useful information, and not be an avenue to post exaggerated articles, or be a place to blow your own trumpet." I've only got one thing to say - LET US LIVE OUR LIVES THE WAY WE WANT. We are all critising the mid-east for their dictatorship, sadly we ourselves are increasingly growing like them. I am of course in the third group!] :-) But, of course a lot of intelligent information does get through ... like personal opinions ... and isn't that what a lot of blogs are, reviews of movies, music etc, and telling people about events coming up and stuff ... so what do they need monitoring unless someone wants to suppress personal opinioning and stop people meeting to see the latest Tempered Mental gig or stop them from organising a protest against Stupidity. And Yes, Suan, you are great ... and that's my personal opinion and the stupid Weekend Mail shouldn't try to suppress that point of view just because they think blogs should be monitored to remove such 'personal' thinking ... and while they're at it, they should remove all editorial from newspapers, because after all, it is also personal opinion, and as such obviously a load of bollocks! So, I guess it probably isn't FA's birthday after all, becasue 66% of 100 people think that blogs are unreliable, and I've read quite a lot of blogs wishing FA a happy birthday, which it obviously can't be because 66% percent of people think the information is bollocks. Guess those people are pure geniuses to be able to have pointed that out for us, cause some of us [not me, I live too far away], might have gone and bought her a present.
