finnegan’s & chili’s @ midvalley
My first time at the new Finnegan’s at Midvalley. As Paul said, should have been my third. Hehehe sowee.
Not cheap leh the beer. But what to expect, Irish pub in Malaysia what.
That fella on top right is Aaron, Paul’s funny colleague.
Then Paul and I went to have dinner at Chili’s. The beer in the collage above was actually Finnegan’s, but I don’t have more photos of Chili’s so it’s a filler, just like this post.
IMNSHO, Chili’s serve one of the better steaks I’ve eaten. Best taken medium.
And I think the Finnegan’s beer mats are so cool.

Yummy. I saw Guinness Draught.
Used to frequent this joint in Sri Hartamas & Bangsar and love their Old Speckled Hen, StrongBow and KillKenny (before marriage and parenthood kill my spending power).
But our Irish Pub is definately overpriced compared to Bangkok or even Singapore. In Bangkok, they even have live bands singing songs by the Pogues and Killkenny going for like RM13/- a pint.
OMGosh!!!! I think that steak is still breathing! They call that MEDIUM??? What’s rare like, you eat it while it’s still in the paddock chewing on grass???
Please, if you must eat animals, at least kill them first!!!!
I’ve seen burn victim survivors who looked more cooked than that!!!

Finny’s isn’t serving up honest pints. The top of the glass is the pint mark and they don’t top up after the foam’s come off. Dishonest and people should point it out. Go to http://www.finneganspubs.com/ and bitch.
Finny’s IS serving up a proper pint. I was WRONG WRONG WRONG.
I went back and we measured the glasses and there is MORE than a pint at the top.
