So if you disconnect it from the phone line it'll keep on blinking. You only have a problem if the line is connected and the light keeps blinking. I do recommend that you disconnect your phone line from the modem when there's a storm, because I've blown out two of the Aztech modems. They did replace it 2 days later so Streamyx tech support get a major thumbs up from me.
